Anya Overmann is a freelance writer, marketer, and activist from St. Louis, Missouri, USA who grew up at the Ethical Society of St. Louis. She has planned multiple conferences with the Future of Ethical Societies and has served as the Communication Officer for Young Humanists International (YHI) since 2015. As part of her work with YHI, Anya helped start and grow the blog Humanist Voices which invites young Humanists from all over the world to share their perspectives. Having grown up in a Humanist community and the experience of working within multiple communities, she has experienced firsthand the impact of including and valuing youth in the Humanist movement. Through her work, she hopes to create a more inclusive global space for the voices of young Humanists.
