Discover Camp Quest, the nation’s only network of secular summer camps that teach science, critical thinking and humanist values. Join other AHA leaders, parents, and educators as we explore key aspects of humanistic education and ways we can meet the burgeoning demand for secular youth programs.

Kim Newton

Kim Newton is the Executive Director of Camp Quest, a nationwide network of secular summer camps that teach science, critical thinking and humanist values. Kim is an active humanist community organizer, passionate nonprofit leader, and youth advocate. She previously served as Director of College Prep Programs at the American Shakespeare Center. She is a co-founder of Staunton Secular Humanists, and co-founder of WQSV 106.3 FM, a community radio station. Kim is a graduate of Mary Baldwin University (MLitt, Shakespeare and Performance) and Hunter College CUNY (BA, Theatre). She lives in Staunton, VA with her husband Geoff and daughter Hazel.
