Does the concept of faith have any meaning for people who identify as Humanist, Atheist or Agnostic? In this talk we’ll explore faith as integral to how we live our lives in areas such as parenting and finding love and happiness. We will also explore how faith plays a role in how we understand the moral implications of scientific discovery.

Jeffrey Caldwell

Jeffrey Caldwell currently serves as an Advanced Clinical Chaplain Resident at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, and is endorsed as a chaplain by the American Humanist Association. As a hospital chaplain, Jeffrey is responsible for helping patients, their families and hospital staff to find sources of strength and meaning to help them cope with their illnesses and injuries. Jeffrey has experience in crisis counseling, pediatric chaplaincy and mental health chaplaincy. Jeffrey has completed a Master’s of Divinity degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary. Jeffrey currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
