Kayla Bowen is a board member for the Secular Student Alliance. She graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. There she started a local SSA chapter her freshmen year in response to Kim Davis, a local county clerk who refused to issue marriages licenses upon the Supreme Court decision to legalize same-sex marriage. Ever since she has been involved with progressive political campaigns, and several secular organizations. She is currently pursuing a career in the non-profit sector to combat separation of church and state issues nation-wide.
