Title of Presentation: Capital Punishment: Its Lost Appeal?
Presentation Summary: Chris Ferbrache will talk about capital punishment in the United States and present a logical framework regarding its validity and practicality, or lack thereof, today. Moreover, the question, “Can a utilitarian support capital punishment?” will be asked. Chris will provide arguments for and against this topic and provide compelling examples from each side of the argument.
Biography: Chris Ferbrache is an adjunct professor of business administration at Fresno City College. In 2006 he was inducted in the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and received his BA in philosophy, with a religious emphasis from California State University, Fresno. In 2009 he received his master’s degree in business administration from CSU, Fresno. Ferbrache lives in Bass Lake, California where he is active in writing, photography and reading.
